KENNEWICK -- A Kennewick man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault Saturday after the woman he lives with turned up at Kennewick General Hospital with multiple facial fractures.

A 30-year-old woman from Kennewick told police she was woken in her apartment in the 500 block of Edison Street on Friday evening by Harold Eugene Bronson Jr., 55, hitting her in the face.

The woman and Bronson live together and have a child in common, and had an argument before the assault, Kennewick police said.

Bronson was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of second-degree assault, and also was cited for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order by trying to call the woman from jail, police said.
