Students in Jeannette Austill's 8th grade Family and Consumer Science class at Carmichael Middle School competed Thursday in an "Aluminum Chef" cooking competition. Students were divided into teams and given 40 minutes to prepare a dish using a secret ingredient revealed to them at the beginning of class.
