A Pasco man convicted in 2010 of trying to lure four boys to his home faces a trial in March on child molestation allegations.
Neftali Silverio Camacho, 29, pleaded innocent Tuesday in Franklin County Superior Court to one count of first-degree child molestation.
He's being held in the Franklin County jail on $50,000 bail. His trial is set for March 7.
"It's commendable that you're judging and prosecuting criminals but please don't judge the book by its cover," Camacho told a judge during a previous court hearing.
Camacho, who was charged in October, was arrested last week on a warrant. His first name also is listed as Neftale in some court documents.
He is accused of inappropriately touching a grade school boy in October 2006, court documents said.
The boy's mother reported the incident to Pasco police in June after the boy said Camacho touched his penis repeatedly. She said at the time she didn't have any details about what happened, but that the boy recently saw Camacho again and brought it up again, documents said.
The boy said Camacho would laugh and giggle as he touched him, documents said.
Camacho represented himself in November 2010 and was found guilty by a Franklin County jury after a 2 1/2-day trial.
He was convicted of luring after asking four boys at the Pasco Rite Aid store to go to his house and watch videos with them. He called it a "neighborhood tradition."
Camacho received a six-month jail sentence and continues to claim he is innocent of the luring incident.
