Allegiant Air announced this week the extension of its flight schedule through Aug. 14 and the beginning of its popular early bird sale.

Travelers who book their summer reservations in the next two weeks can take advantage of fares to Los Angeles as low as $60 one way. Other deals also are available, says the company. The sale ends Jan 25.

Baggage fees, taxes and other fees are not included in the ticket price. Seats are limited and some restrictions and rules apply, so read the website carefully.
