A 42-year-old woman has died from her injuries, three days after she failed to stop at a red light and caused an early-morning crash on Highway 240.

A'Lisa Dawn Andersen died Friday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Andersen reportedly was behind the wheel of a stolen car when she drove through a red light at Duportail Street at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday. She was westbound on Highway 240.

The stolen 2004 Pontiac Grand Am hit a pickup driven by Matthew D. Bartlett, 28, of Richland. He was southbound on Duportail, headed to eastbound 240, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Pontiac struck the front section of Bartlett's 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup. It then hit a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Deanna M. Richardson, 26, of Kennewick, the state patrol said.

Andersen and Bartlett were taken to Kadlec for treatment of their injuries. Andersen had been listed in critical condition at the hospital.

Bartlett told the Herald on Tuesday that he suffered bumps, bruises and a sprained shoulder. He was released from the hospital that same day.

Richardson reportedly was not injured.

Police blamed the crash -- which snarled traffic on 240 as morning rush hour started -- on Andersen's inattention.

The state patrol reported Tuesday that Andersen is from Richland, but a death notice submitted to the Herald shows she lived in Pasco.

Andersen was a cosmetologist who was born in San Jose, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for five years, according to the death notice.

Hillcrest Memorial Center of Kennewick is in charge of her funeral arrangements.
