Sparks' 24 ignites Chiawana girls by Richland

PASCO -- Sadie Sparks scored 23 points to pilot the Chiawana Riverhawks to a 54-40 win over the visiting Richland bombers in a CBBN 4A contest Friday night.

"She had a nine-point second quarter," Chiawana coach Steve Davis said. "It's the best game I've seen her play in four years."

Delaney Hodgins chipped in 12 points for the Riverhawks.

Britney Pringle scored 13 points to lead the Bombers, who are still searching for their first league win.
