* 1989 -- Pasco center Debbie Sporcich scored a game-high 21 points to lead three Bulldogs players in double figures in a 64-38 road win at Wenatchee. Sporcich, who would later star at the University of Oregon, helped Pasco remain undefeated at 9-0.

* 1971 -- The Sunnyside Grizzlies wrestling team slaughtered Grandview 36-6 behind pins from Allen Kline (140), Steve Schut (187) and Sam Morrow (heavyweight).

* 1960 -- Richland called on the experience of its three veterans -- Bob Frick, Jim Walton and Mike McKeown -- to pull away in the final five minutes of a hard-earned 51-43 win over Scott Foxley's scrappy Pasco squad.
