It will be Friday the 13th Horror Night when the Tri-City Independent Film Festival gets under way in Richland.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 in the Battelle Auditorium, 902 Battelle Blvd., Richland. Admission is $5. Movies are recommended for teens and older.
The evening features nine spooky flicks that are considered the best horror shorts by the film club. Here's a list of films to be screened:
7 p.m.: Nursery Crimes features Little Bo Peep who has slaughtered her sheep.
7:05 p.m.: A Penny Earned is about honeymooners Megan and Joe who end up at a haunted bed and breakfast.
7:20 p.m.: Zombiefiction is the ultimate manual for handling the living dead.
7:38 p.m.: Enter the Dark is a film about Charles, who is running from the voice that won't leave him alone.
7:56 p.m.: Hinnon Valley is about a woman and young girl who team up to stay alive despite the constant fear of flesh-eating creatures and a malicious military.
8:24 p.m.: Hairy Hands is the fourth in the 'Penny Dreadful' series, inspired by English folklore.
8:36 p.m.: Doll Parts tells the story of a serial killer who picks up the wrong girl.
8:46 p.m.: Negative Image follows a paranormal journalist determined to capture a mysterious entity on film.
8:57 p.m.: Get Off My Porch is about a man who is terrorized by the Girl Scouts trying to sell their cookies.
