SUNNYSIDE -- Vernon Telander, 89, of Grandview, died Jan. 2 at Sunnyside Community Hospital in Sunnyside.
He was born in Dahlen, N.D., and lived in the Valley since 1953.
He retired from work as a meat cutter and for Seneca Foods.
Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
