Nate Roberts led all scorers with 20 points to lead Burbank to a 53-50 win over Riverside on Friday at the Sun-Dome Shootout in Yakima. It was the Coyotes' third consecutive victory.
Chris Ryckman, a sophomore guard, added 13 points and continued to make a strong contribution.
"He's a good one. He and (fellow sophomore Justin) McBride are playing really well," Coyotes coach D.J. Traver said after his team held on with some clutch free throws.
"We jumped out to an early lead, but the jumpers quit falling," he said. "There wasn't one big shot, but everybody made their free throws down the stretch. And we didn't give up any offensive rebounds in the end. That's big because we're not a big team."

Colville 40, Connell 30 : Matt Hadley led all scorers with 19 points for Connell, but the Eagles couldn't overcome a strong defensive performance by Riverside at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima.
TC Prep 54, Warden 48 : Jameson Pederson posted career highs with 24 points and 17 rebounds to lift Tri-Cities Prep to a win over Warden at the Moses Lake Holiday tournament on Wednesday. Bailey Rivas added six assists and Evan Whitsett had 12 points for the Jaguars. Victor Flores led the Cougars with 16 points.
