CBC women top Chemeketa

The Columbia Basin College women's basketball team edged Lane 87-76 on Thursday at the Chemeketa Holiday Tournament in Salem, Ore.

Ana Jimenez had 27 points for CBC in the contest, and Jennifer Noon and Tiffany Idler also scored in double digits for a combined 32 points.

Kersey Wilcox led the Titans with a game-high 28 points.

The Hawks will play Chemeketa at 4 p.m. today in the championship.
