A windy job

You haven't had a real job in years. You last worked pumping water for cattle and people.

Uncle Sam comes to you and says, "Have I got a job for you!" It is a part-time job at best, but you will get higher pay than others producing the same product, and if you feel you can't work, we will make sure you get payed anyway! Now, here is the great part of the job! You only have to work 25 to 30 percent of the time and you can work when ever you feel like it! Just show up whenever you want and don't worry about others doing the same work more efficiently. It just doesn't matter. The fact that we don't really need you to do any work at this time is irrelevant!

The only downside to people paying for what you produce is they just won't be able to depend on you, and there could be long periods when you just can't seem to produce anything at all! Now, here is the really fun part -- you get to kill any bird that tangles with you and you can really have a hoot killing bats because apparently you really confuse those little critters.

This friends, is how wind machines really work. Where is Don Quixote when we need him most?!
