2005 -- After falling behind 21-6, Hermiston won seven of nine matches and went on to beat Pasco 45-30 in the championship match of the Best of the West wrestling tournament in a battle of Bulldogs. 1998 -- Sophomore post Emily Faurholt scored 34 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Kennewick girls basketball team to a 61-50 win at Hermiston. "She's a good player and she had a great game," said Hermiston coach Mike Royer. "But we made her look like an All-American tonight."

1984 -- Wendy Frick had 18 points and Candy Burden pumped in 14 more from the perimeter as Richland shot a hot 51-percent from the floor and took advantage of 31 turnovers by host Kennewick to post a surprisingly easy 61-30 Big Nine girls basketball triumph.

1976 -- Tammy and Tovia Robinson teamed up for 41 points as the Pasco girls basketball team romped to a 56-27 win over the Eastmont Wildcats.
