A Moses Lake woman is in the Benton County jail on suspicion of organized retail theft after allegedly making off with a cart full of Barbies at a Kennewick toy store.

Police said employees at Toys R Us reported seeing two women about 10 p.m. Monday leaving the store with a cart loaded with Barbie toys.

They followed the women outside and took down their license plate number and description of their Kia Sorrento and called police.

An officer found the Kia moments later pulling into the parking lot at the Carmike movie theater.

The women fled, but police said they found Marisol E. Ramirez, 25, hiding next to a car.

The second woman, whom police said was the driver, was not found or identified.

Police said the vehicle was full of merchandise in addition to the Barbies.

Anyone with information about the second woman is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 586-8477 or go to tricitiescrimestoppers.org
