Student teams from the Tri-Cities took top honors at Knowledge Bowl contest held in Walla Walla on Wednesday.
Kamiakin High School took first place in the competition, while Hanford and Richland high schools were tied for third place.
Prosser High School placed second.
Students answered questions in math, science, history, language, literature, music, geography and current events.
Wednesday's competition featuring 17 teams was held at De Sales High School in Walla Walla.
Pasco High placed 11th. Kennewick and Southridge high schools tied for 12th.
