WALLA WALLA -- Eleven businesses in a downtown Walla Walla building were broken into overnight, resulting in the theft of laptops, digital cameras and an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The burglaries were reported at 7 a.m. Wednesday in an office building on East Main Street, Walla Walla police Officer Tim Bennett said.
There were no signs of forced entry to the office building. Damage to the business entrances inside the building is estimated at more than $2,000, Bennett said.
No arrests have been made.
Detectives spent several hours Wednesday collecting evidence from the businesses.
