* 1984 -- John Wilfert had 28 points and Eddie Bright added 23 as the Hanford boys basketball team beat Walla Walla 73-66. Don Fauver led the Blue Devils with 23 points.
* 1979 -- The Richland boys rolled to their fourth consecutive victory, defeating Shadle Park 80-63 in Spokane. Matt Haskins led the Bombers with 23 points. On defense, Jack Vanderburg and Steve Parnell held Shadle Park's Mark Rypien to 18 points. The night before, Rypien scored 16 in one quarter against Pasco.
