Kennewick police are investigating a report of a drive-by shooting Thursday night.

A resident reported shots fired at her home about 8:14 p.m. at the 2900 block of Seventh Avenue in the Whispering Winds Mobile Home Park.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots from a blue or green passenger car as it passed by the home, said Kennewick police.

The vehicle fled the scene prior to police arriving. The rounds fired from the car struck the home, which was occupied, but nobody inside was hurt, police reported.
