BENTON CITY -- The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #115 in Benton City is organizing several fundraisers next month.

The nonprofit veterans organization uses proceeds from all fundraisers to help veterans, children and youth in the Walla Walla and Tri-City area.

The events are Sunday and Dec. 18: Gift wrapping beginning at 8 a.m.; Dec. 10: Silent Auction from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a chile feed; Dec. 18: Bake sale beginning at 8 a.m.

The events are being at the Benton City/Richland Post at 908 Dale St. across from the post office in Benton City.
