For those who wish to send our troops mail for the holidays -- right now there is a Facebook hoax circulating telling people to send a holiday card addresses to "A Wounded Soldier at Walter Reed Memorial Hospital."

Please know that any mail addressed in this way will be discarded, unopened, because of heightened security. If you want to send holiday cards or care packages to our troops, please send them to "Holiday Mail For Heroes."
