With all the holiday hoopla, early deadlines and limited space Wednesday night, Adam Hughesman's five-point night against the Portland Winterhawks didn't the recognition it deserves.

With his four assists, Hughesman (169) surpassed Dylan Stanley (167) for 6th on the Americans' all-time assists list. Next up are Stu Barnes and Kruise Reddick, who each have 174.

Also, Hughesman (275) needed just two points to surpass Bill Lindsay (271) for eighth on the all-time points list. Next, is Stanley's mark of 280 points, Stu Barnes' 285 and Dylan Gyori's 286.

"They are all big names," said Hughesman, who has played 289 WHL games, all with Tri-City, which ranks him 7th in franchise history. "It's nice that the team kept me here five years. I can't thank them enough."

Brendan Shinnimin also hit a milestone Wednesday, notching three assists to give him 150 for his career.

And while we're at it, with the win against Portland, Ty Rimmer has 11 wins with the Americans, leaving him three shy of passing Joel Martin (13) for 15th on the team's all-time wins list, led by Chet Pickard with 107.
