A Kennewick school bus driver was cited for following too closely after hitting another car Monday afternoon on South Kellogg Street.
Kennewick police Officer John Greenough said bus driver Robert Walsborn of Kennewick was cited after hitting a Ford Fusion driven by Rhonda Shelly of Kennewick.
The Ford then was pushed into a Volvo S60 driven by Linda Clark of Kennewick.
No children were on the bus at the time of the collision, and no one was injured, according to Kennewick School District spokeswoman Lorraine Cooper, who spoke to her transportation manager about the wreck.
Cooper could not say if the bus driver would be suspended temporarily because it was too soon after the crash to know those details.
"At this point, basically our procedure is to do an investigation, and we will have appropriate disciplinary action with the driver of our bus," she said.
The district's investigation will include a look at the driver's history before making a decision.
The two damaged cars and bus blocked South Kellogg Street near the roundabout at West Fourth Avenue in Kennewick.
3 injured after driver pulls into intersection
Three people were hospitalized Monday morning after a driver pulled into an intersection while allegedly being distracted by a cellphone.
Kelli J. Cooper, 46, of Kennewick, was stopped at a red light, heading west on 19th Street at Highway 395.
Witnesses said she looked like she was distracted by a cellphone when she pulled into the intersection and was hit by a southbound 2010 Honda Civic driven by Robert L. Taber, 53, of Pasco, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Brian Bond.
Cooper's car then hit a power pole. The accident happened at 8:55 a.m.
Cooper and two of her passengers, Herlinda M. Norwood, 44, of Kennewick, and Angel V. Correa, 4, of Kennewick, were taken to Kennewick General Hospital. They were all treated and later released.
Taber was not hurt. Everyone was wearing seat belts, said the state patrol.
Pasco man wanted for child molestation
A Pasco man is wanted by the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office on a felony warrant for first-degree child molestation.
Rosendo Hernandez Boites, 42, is 6-foot-1, 150-pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Cement truck rolls after blowing tire near Dayton
A blown tire caused a cement truck to roll over Monday, snarling traffic about 15 miles north of Dayton on Highway 12.
The Washington State Patrol reported Nathan L. Griffith, 47, of Walla Walla, was driving a 2006 Kenworth cement truck westbound on Highway 12 when the left front tire blew out at 9:40 a.m.
The truck rolled over and ended up in the ditch of the eastbound lane.
The roadway was blocked intermittently throughout the afternoon. Griffith was uninjured. The truck was totaled, the patrol reported.
