A worker who collapsed Monday at the Hanford vitrification plant construction project has died.

Andrew Hrebeniuk, a 67-year-old ironworker, was found collapsed and unresponsive in one of the site’s restroom trailers minutes before the 6 a.m. start of the work shift.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was started, and he was taken by ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, but he could not be revived.
