BOISE, Idaho -- Kamiakin senior Anthony Armstrong, who last week won the 3A boys state cross country title, was back at it again Saturday.

Armstrong finished first in the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regionals in Boise, clocking the 5-kilometer course in 15 minutes, 36.9 seconds. He topped Izaic Yorks of Lakes, who was third last week, by just under 4 seconds.

The top 10 individuals and top four teams qualify for nationals Dec. 3 in Portland.

Kamiakin finished sixth in the team race, won by North Central of Spokane -- another trophy to add to the six straight Washington 3A titles the Indians have won.

Braves Austin Richards (16:55.) and Austin Oser (16:55.4) finished 65-66 in the elite field, with Keengan McCormick (72nd, 16:58.7), Garrett Kraal (74th, 16:59.3), Taylor Kraal (75th, 16:59.4) and Christian Rodriguez (105th, 17:14.5) rounding out the Kamiakin team.
