Notes: Kennewick beat Southridge 35-7 in the teams' previous meeting. The Lions turned away two early scoring threats and intercepted Mendenhall twice. Leavitt threw for two scores and ran for another, and Woods racked up 162 of Kennewick's 298 yards on the ground. ... The Suns are last in the CBBN 3A in stopping the run (200 yards per game), but also need to get more from the pass rush -- Leavitt completed 8 of 11 last time. ... Kennewick has the CBBN's top defense in yards (182) and points (5.6) allowed per game.
