Three-time Oregon state champion Joey Delgado signed a letter of intent earlier this week to wrestle at Oregon State.

The Hermiston senior, coming off a 53-0 season and 146-2 in his Bulldog career, will vie to become the 20th wrestler in Oregon history to win four state titles. Hermiston is the five-time defending 5A champion.

Delgado and the Bulldogs open the season Dec. 9-10 at the Inland Empire Invite in Spokane and will wrestle their usual tough tournament schedule, which includes Tri-State, Rollie Lane and the Reser Invite, and will make a stop in the Tri-Cities for Best of the West on Dec. 22-23.
