Kennewick's new Texas Roadhouse is scheduled to open Monday near Ranch & Home.

The restaurant at 845 N. Columbia Center Blvd. is the first the chain headquartered in Louisville, Ky., has opened in Washington.

The restaurant will bring 180 new jobs to the community, including managers, servers, food runners, hostesses, meat-cutters, kitchen staff and dishwashers, the company said.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant will have seating for about 270 people, and includes both tables and a bar area, according to plans filed with the city.

Hours are from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Customers can call ahead to get on a waiting list, but no reservations are taken. Call 783-1288.
