* 2000 -- Columbia Basin College goaltender Kristen Parnell recorded her 10th shutout of the season as the defending NWAACC champion Hawks won 3-0 at Community Colleges of Spokane to cap the regular season at 15-2-2.

* 1990 -- Running back Marlon Skinner carried 25 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns, including a 60-yard first-half score, and Hanford's defense held West Valley scoreless in the second half in a 20-19 upset win over the Rams at Fran Rish Stadium.

* 1980 -- Larry Sherman scored on a 2-yard run on Kamiakin's first drive in overtime, giving the Braves a 20-19 road win and handing first-place Wenatchee (7-1) its first loss of the year.
