West Richland council: Curtiss

In June, I joined the race for Position 7 on West Richland's City Council. I am not a politician. I filed for this position to work for all residents and to assist the council in establishing a streamlined application process that would benefit developers of new businesses as well as city staff and patrons.

As a West Richland business owner of a fencing company for more than 40 years and having significantly invested in other services to our community, I would have brought to the council the experience and desire to build a business-friendly environment while maintaining the city's rural lifestyle.

Johan Curtiss, a winner in the primary election, assures me she believes residents should be involved in city planning, commercial uses should not be allowed in our parks, businesses should be encouraged to locate in existing commercial areas, all business owners should be treated fairly and businesses that will maintain our rural lifestyle should be encouraged to locate in West Richland.

Because Johan is pro-community and pro-business, I ask that all voters who voted for me in the primary election join me in voting for Johan Curtiss in the general election for Position 7 on city council.
