Not long ago, the Tri-City Herald published an editorial on the importance of school board members doing their homework. Good advice.

I urge Pasco voters to elect Ryan Brault to the school board -- Ryan does his homework. He has demonstrated his commitment to Pasco and Pasco schools, not by empty words but through hard work. Since announcing his candidacy, he has attended every school board meeting. He will hit the ground running.

Ryan is a businessman, a Rotarian and past-president of the Pasco Chamber of Commerce. He is always well informed. Ryan Brault is the clear choice for Pasco School Board.

I also support Rebecca Francik. I have known Pasco Mayor Pro Tem Rebecca Francik for more than 15 years. I admire her personally and her work as a councilwoman.

Rebecca is always well prepared, listens carefully and balanced and thoughtful in her responses. She has always represented Pasco citizens well. Rebecca works for Pasco Schools as a librarian and teacher.

I am voting for her re-election to the Pasco City Council and ask you to join me in supporting Rebecca Francik.
