A Pasco man was stabbed Friday morning by a co-worker at 5D Dairy farm in Franklin County, authorities said.

Franklin County sheriff's deputies were called to the farm at 2300 Kruse Road at 7:15 a.m., after someone called 911, said Cpl. Gordon Thomasson.

When deputies arrived, they found Bernardo Madrigal-Guzman, 21, had been stabbed with a knife.

He was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where he was treated and released by Friday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.

Jose Vazquez-Barron, 32, of Pasco, was arrested and booked into the Franklin County jail for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, Thomasson said.

Deputies learned both men work at the farm but still are investigating what led to the assault, he said.
