Sad news for fans of The Red Room.

The popular music venue in Kennewick, which opened in 2007, will hold its final show Oct. 21.

Headlining the event will be Man Man, Grandchildren and The Seaworthies.

"The only reason we're closing is because we rented our space from The Living Room Church and they are moving to a new location sooner than we thought," said Davey Ingersoll, who manages the site. "We are thinking of relocating, but it won't be until next summer at the earliest, and nothing is for sure at this point.

"We are excited that our last show is with three bands that have supported our venue in the past: Man Man, Grandchildren and The Seaworthies."

Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $12 in advance or $14 at the door. Tickets are available at www.redrm.com. The Red Room is at 711 Vineyard Drive in Kennewick.
