KGH Foundation officials reported net proceeds of more than $160,000 from its Gala D'Vine fundraiser earlier this month.

The event at the Three Rivers Convention Center earned $65,000 from a live auction, $15,000 from a silent auction, $30,000 from a Raise the Paddle auction and $80,000 from table, individual and event sponsorships.

The money goes toward helping expand Kennewick General Hospital's Hematology and Oncology cancer treatment program, the purchase of a new fetal ultrasound system for the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic, and other patient programs and services.

The annual event has raised more than $1 million in contributions since its first year in 2005.
