The annual Benton County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be staged today in Kennewick.
The event runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Benton County Road Department Building, 1709 S. Ely St.
Houshold waste that will be accepted today includes paint (oil base and latex), cleaning agents, polishes, batteries, gasoline, adhesives and glues, fluorescent light bulbs/tubes, propane cylinders, aerosols, transmission & brake fluid, wood preservatives and stains, pesticides, motor oil and anti-freeze, and pool chemicals.
