On Oct. 9, you published a letter from Tim Taylor that was factually incorrect when it claimed the audience at a recent GOP presidential debate booed an American soldier.
I listened to the soldier's statement and question many times to insure my accuracy. The soldier's identifying himself as gay was met with respectful silence, as is proper. It was his question on "don't ask don't tell," which was moot at that time, that prompted perhaps two people to boo. It was the question not the soldier that was booed!
