There are two good, qualified men running for the position of Fire Commissioner for Benton County Fire District #3 this year. Both would do a good job. However, Tim Stewart has the hands-on experience with more than 33 years as a volunteer firefighter that we need to move our fire district forward and serve the people to the best extent possible.

Tim, on his own initiative, obtained the necessary training and dedicated himself to becoming one of the most highly qualified firefighters in the history of our district.

Tim has earned the qualification of Task Force Strike Team Leader and has been a highly respected leader on numerous state and national incidents.

This extra training and commitment was not a requirement of his position, but the result of his desire to be the best at serving his community as a firefighter. There is no question that he will also do his best as your Fire Commissioner.

I have personally had the pleasure of serving this community side by side with Tim. You can trust him to represent you to the best of his ability as fire commissioner.
