Lexi Ellingsen scored in the 66th minute, and the Riverhawks (3-6 CBBN 4A) ended a lengthy winless drought by beating the Chiefs (6-2) on the road.
"We needed this," Chiawana coach Rich Zoller said. "We started 2-0 and went on a six-game losing streak. This is huge for us, especially winning on the road. Hopefully this will build our confidence."

Heather Johnson figured into eight of Southridge's 11 goals during a CBBN 3A home win over Sunnyside, recording three goals and five assists to inch closer to the career 100-goal mark.
