* 2004 -- Jen Rickel's 11 kills and 15 digs helped lead Southridge to a four-game win over Walla Walla. The Suns earned their first postseason berth since 2001 and first Big Nine district appearance since 1998.

* 1998 -- Dylan Gyori scored two goals and an assist, and Jordan Landry added two goals as the Tri-City Americans defeated the host Kamloops Blazers 7-2.

* 1985 -- With his team trailing by three at halftime, Kennewick football coach Ed Troxel substituted junior running backs Bob Wilkinson and Bill Templeton into the game in the second half against Richland. Both players scored a touchdown, and the Lions beat the Bombers 27-17 to raise their record to 5-0.
