A Pasco man accused of pointing a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident was arrested Sunday, police said.

Pasco police arrested Severiano Castellanos, 19, after stopping him in the 1600 block of Court Street, said Capt. Jim Raymond.

Dispatchers received 911 calls from drivers in the area of Sylvester Street and 14th Avenue reporting a reckless driver who almost caused a crash, Raymond said.

Castellanos also reportedly pointed a handgun at another driver who confronted him about his reckless behavior, Raymond said.

Officers recovered a loaded semi-automatic gun from Castellanos's car after his arrest.

He was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.
