The Benton PUD will explain reasons for upcoming cost increases at an information meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Costs are going up for wholesale power from the Bonneville Power Administration and renewable energy, but there are decreasing power sales to offset that. All will have an impact on rates next year and in future years, according to the PUD.
The meeting is at the Benton PUD Auditorium, 2721 W. 10th Ave., Kennewick.
