A candidates' forum featuring six people vying for three seats on the Kennewick City Council is at 8 a.m. today at the Clover Island Inn.
The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership is sponsoring the forum, which will be in the Plaza Room at the inn.
The candidates who are invited are incumbents Paul Parish, Bob Olson and Steve Young, and challengers Loren Nichols, Diane Crawford and Gloria Tyler Baker.
The candidates will be asked to comment about economic development, marketing and creating public space in the downtown area between the bridges and from the Columbia River to 10th Avenue.
The public is welcome to attend the forum, which is expected to last about one hour.
