Karma Wilson, author of the popular children's book, Bear Snores On, is making several stops in the Tri-Cities this week for book signings and to give away a limited number of her books.

The Mid-Columbia Libraries and the Children's Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia are sponsoring Wilson's visit, which will be at Rowena Chess, Emerson, Keene-Riverview, Westgate and Sunset View elementary schools.

She will be at the Pasco branch, 1320 W. Hopkins Street, at 7 p.m. tonight, and at the Kennewick branch, 1620 S. Union St., at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Wilson also will give a presentation at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Regal Cinemas in Kennewick's Columbia Center mall, followed by a book signing at Barnes & Noble Booksellers.
