The Americans won't be getting Matt MacKenzie back any time soon. The veteran defenseman signed a three-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres and will play for the Rochester Americans for the foreseeable future.
Not sure what the $$$ was. I saw $1.5 and $1.8 million over the three years. Either way, it's good money.
