Ever dream about being a cop, robber or superhero?
Now is your chance to be one for a night and help raise money to catch criminals in the Tri-Cities.
Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers has planned An Evening with Cops, Robbers and Superheroes on Saturday at TRAC in Pasco. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is at 6:30 p.m.
Costumes are encouraged, so attendees can dress up as their favorite crime fighter, villain or superhero.
"It's going to be cool. It should be a lot of fun," said Mike Blatman, Kennewick police crime prevention specialist and law enforcement coordinator for Crime Stoppers.
Tickets are $50 a person and are on sale now at TRAC.
A silent auction and palm reading also are planned. A jail is being built for a fun jail and bail. Anybody at the event can pay $25 to have someone jailed and that person will have to pay bail and a booking fee, which includes the cost of their "mugshot."
Attendees also can put their detective skills to the test to try to solve a crime.
Clues will be presented by video throughout the night so attendees can try to figure out "who done it."
All the correct answers will be combined, and one person who solves the crime will win $1,000.
Classic clips from TV shows and movies with cops, robbers and superheroes also will be shown throughout the night.
