ROYAL CITY -- The Warriors made a surprisingly good game of it in Royal City, scoring right before halftime to trail just 21-12.
The Knights, though, blew it open after the break. Quarterback Alex Myrick was 17-of-26 for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed 13 times for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
"(Wahluke) has been getting better," Royal coach Wiley Allred said. "We just adjusted the defense after the first drive. It was fun. We got to play a meaningful game. They played hard and it was hard-hitting on both sides of the ball."
