1996 -- Kennewick's Steve Thompson led all 125 laps to win the 4-Cylinder Open Competition's main event at Tri-City Raceway.

1996 -- Stacy Rogers' goal with less than a minute to play gave the Columbia Basin College women their first NWAACC soccer victory of the season, a 2-1 besting of visiting Green River. Tracy Merkel also scored for the Hawks, and Rosa Morales stopped 13 shots in goal.

2001 -- The Bulldogs got 215 yards rushing from Allen Ailep and 150 yards receiving from Marshal Smith as top-ranked Pasco defeated the Kamiakin Braves 28-17 in a Big Nine Conference game.
