Hanford's Stephanie Tixier and Melissa Merrill had two first-place finishes apiece as the Falcons swept Sunnyside and West Valley in a CBBN 3A girls swim meet at Prout Pool in Richland on Tuesday.

Tixier clocked two minutes, 4.43 seconds in the 200 freestyle and 5:36.67 in the 500 freestyle. Merrill clocked 1:02.65 in the 100 butterfly and 1:05.13 in the 100 backstroke.

Sunnyside's Marisa Broersma swam to first-place in the 200 IM (2:24.01) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.23) and West Valley's Robin Sundlee scored 155.85 to place first in diving.

Courtney Schwiesow outdid herself in the 100 breaststroke in a CBBN 4A swim meet in Moses Lake.

Schwiesow, swimming for the Chiefs, clocked 1:09.29 in the event to both qualify for state and top her previous mark of 1:10.38.
