The cross country coaches state polls came out Sunday night without a whole lot of changin' going on.

The Kamiakin boys remain No. 2 behind North Central in the 3A poll, with regional foes Mount Spokane and University ranked sixth and seventh and Shadle Park 10th. With only three teams advancing to state from the region, a couple of real good squads will be left at home.

The Braves also remained put at third in the girls poll behind Glacier Peak and Shadle Park.

The defending 2B/1B champion Tri-Cities Prep boys hold their spot atop that poll. Their performance at Saturday's Connell Invite is a pretty good indication they are a good bet to repeat. Also, Waitsburg-Prescott is still ninth, even though (as one astute reader noted) they have only three boys on the squad and likely won't qualify for the postseason as a team.

Royal is 10th in the 1A boys poll.
