PROSSER -- A Grandview teen was in critical condition Friday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland after speeding and rolling his car early that morning, according to Kadlec and the Washington State Patrol.
Martines Salomon, 18, was driving a four-door Kia at 2:37 a.m. north on Highway 221 three miles south of Prosser. Raul Guiterrez, 19, of Grandview, also was in the car.
Salomon was driving at a high rate of speed and his car left the road when he came to a curve, according to the state patrol. The car rolled several times. Both were wearing seat belts.
Salomon was flown to Richland by air ambulance and Guiterrez was taken to Prosser Memorial Hospital, according to police reports. The accident remains under investigation.
