Southridge's Freund qualifies for state dive meet

KENNEWICK -- Southridge's Danielle Freund easily notched a 3A state-qualifying mark at the Tri-Cities 11 Dive Meet at Serier Pool. Freund totaled 315.40 points, well over the 300-point threshold.

Kamiakin's Jessica Anderson was second at 216.65. Eastmont's Marina Heminger (199.85) rounded out the top three.

On the 4A side, Moses Lake's Sammy Hendrickson won with a total of 283.05, holding off Eisenhower's Beth Klingele (277.85).

Richland's Carly Garland (238.55) was third.
